BCI Joists

BCI® Joists are specially constructed I-joists with flanges made from VERSA-LAM® laminated veneer lumber and a revolutionary flange profile which provides outstanding strength and durability. Our current series feature wider flanges which make them even easier to work with on the jobsite because of their wide nailing surface. These joists are consistent from piece to piece, are lighter in weight and stronger than conventional lumber, easier to handle, and faster to install. BCI® Joists help keep floors flat and homes square, make finish work go faster with fewer problems, and are readily available.

BCI Joists are engineered wood structural members designed for use in floor and roof construction. The product is prefabricated using versalam LVL and OSB webs, bonded with exterior-type adhesives.

BCI Joists provide a high performance alternative to dimension lumber joists for residential and light commercial floor and roof framing applications.

Most BCI Joists are available in four depths 9-1/2, 11-7/8, 14 and 16 inches. And BCI Joists are supplied in longs lengths (up to sixty feet).
